In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic, Comfort and Care Home Care Services would like to provide you with ways that you and your loved ones could use to protect yourselves and others. As it stands and according to CDC guidelines, there is no vaccine to fight off the coronavirus disease (COVID 19’). This virus is spread mainly from person-to-person, so it is important to practice social distancing. Try to avoid going out (unless necessary) or gathering with groups larger than 10 people within.

During this time, it is extremely important to wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. It is highly recommended that instead of using your hands to cover a cough or sneeze, use a tissue or the inside of your elbows.

As you are trying to protect yourself during COVID 19, it is also important that you are courteous to others. In other words, if you are aware that you are aware that you have a common cold, try wearing facemasks when you are in the presence of others. This could include when you are sharing a room or vehicle and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. In the worst-case scenario of your illness progressing, it is advised that you stay home unless you are seeking medical attention.

In addition to the above referenced precautionary measures, one of the most important tip is for you to remain calm. Things may seem tough at the moment, however Comfort and Care Home Care Services wants you to know that a measured and informed approach will help you navigate this uncharted territory.
